Degrassi - Crazy Craig
OMG this community is so neglected. And I had such plans! deargoldaline and I are thisclose to finishing up the "Which Degrassi woman is best for Albert?" and then I was going to do routine posts that list reasons why Albert>>>Joey. Anyway When Doves Cry is airing right now on The-N's marathon...and it got me thinking about Julia Jeremiah formerly Julia Manning.

What's the age difference between Joey and Julia anyway? I mean you'd think that Julia would be older than Joey to have Craig...unless she's a slut like Spike Nelson and gets knocked up at what age 14?

Photobucket

Is that a 1958? Or 1968? She died at 31 or 41? Schools Out was in 1992 and I assume Joey was 18 then. So he was prob born in 1974. Dammmmn. Julia was a cougar.

Let's make jokes about Albert's ex wife and wonder how in the world she ever could have left that sexy manCollapse )

I fixed the layout width so hopefully you don't end up cursing at the community every time you come in to post an image and it runs off the layout. Well it bothered me. It made me as upset as Albert was when his ingrate of a son ends up late for dinner. It's at six o'clock, what doesn't he understand?

When I say 6:00, I don’t care how great the light is, you’re home. Do you understand me? Just clean it up.Collapse )

I'm just sitting around waiting for Flashpoint to air in my time zone so I thought I'd do a post of articles I've been coming across about him over the past few weeks:

When asked why he decided to take on the project, Hugh Dillon's answer is straightforward. “I grew up on comic books and rock ‘n roll and they both had a major impact on my life. When the chance came up to get involved in a documentary project about the artists and writers who have created some of the most important [comic book] characters in history, it was easy to say yes.” He adds that, “This is a truly comprehensive and intelligent look at comic book writers and artists.”

"I was always attracted to the dark and the rebellion side,'' says Dillon. "I didn't like orders, I didn't like people giving me orders and that's why I became a singer in a very aggressive kind of anti-social band. And I liked criminals.

"But as I got older and educated, I got a lot more respect for the cops and the whole of law enforcement.

"Really, for me it's all about growing up and really having more empathy for everybody.''

I walked away from it because I enjoyed the vices of rock 'n'roll," he says of his decision to quit acting in the late 1990s. His attitude, he says, was acting is a lot of work. You can keep it. I am a lead singer in a f---ing rock and roll band and got a gold record. I tour. And you wake up one day, and you are 40 with a drug habit."

I guess what I'm trying to say is the lifestyle was too much," he says. I still record and write songs. I just don't go out on the road and get arrested."

Dillon says, "I think I woke up in Edmonton one day and I started using heroin again and I said to myself, I'm going to go home in a bag. I've got to knock all this off. I've got to make some adjustments. It's the hardest thing in the world. It's f---ing hard. I had to walk away from everything. The Headstones were done. I didn't have these acting roles waiting for me. I didn't have this voice-over work I've been lucky to get. I didn't have any songs in the can. I didn't have any band waiting in the wings. I had nothing. I had to start over. People have to start over in their lives sometimes. I just didn't want to end up defeated and bitter - or dead. So it was the best move I ever made."

First there was Hard Core Logo. Now, 12 years after his mockumentary about a Canadian punk band wowed critics, Canadian director Bruce McDonald is about to bring you Hard Core Logo II: Still Hard. Or, possibly, Hard Core Solo - he hasn't quite decided on the title of the sequel set to begin shooting in January.

What should everyone shut up about?
I don't think people should shut up, that's the beauty of it.

What traits do you most like and most dislike about yourself?
The drive, the passion. And that's both, ’cause sometimes you just can't let anything go.

What do you fear most?
Unrealized potential.

What makes you want to take it off and get it on?
Great art.

"It comes down to chemistry -- just like for actors, it's also for musicians. Chris and I have chemistry, and we can write really fast," says Dillon.

"It was always about the music with us -- that's how we've gotten along. It's collaboration, it's generosity, it's a give and take and you don't have to drive your opinions. That's when it's fun to write."

26th-Jul-2008 02:24 pm - Albert/Julia/Joey?
Kamil Vojnar - bathtub

hehe, Joey looks all tiny here.

I was just working on my fan fiction and pondering up ways for Albert to get pissed off at his son yet again. During that I started thinking about the whole Albert/Julia/Joey thing. I don't think it's ever been directly stated, but it does seem like Joey and Julia had an affair. It might be just how I choose to view the character, but it seems like Albert has too much bitterness for it to just a divorce. I suppose it's possible that she got with Joey shortly after the divorce and didn't know him before though. But what about the numbers - do the years add up? Was there enough time for Julia to divorce, meet and marry Joey, and then have Angela?

I just love open ended all that is. It's open to a lot of interpretation. What do you think went down between Albert/Julia/Joey? And what about how it seems that Craig had always lived with Albert since the divorce?

Tears Are Not Enough deleted scene. You'll have to crank up the volume, the deleted scenes are always lower in volume.

I wish they would've included this; it really shows that even though he was an abusive guilt tripping father of death, he cared about his son.

He looks like he's on the verge of tears here:

He knows he fucked up.
